Setting goals will set you on the path to success. Allocating deadlines for what you want to achieve is the only way you will take concrete actions to move towards it. Earlier I had the destination clear in my mind but without a game plan, I never reached my desired end. My mentors highlighted that it is the urgency that was missing.
Success is all about the gap between intentions and implementation. No matter how pure your intentions are but if you do not take any actions, nothing will happen. Most of us, including me used to think that I need to become perfect before I take any actions. Associating with successful entrepreneurs and seeing things from their perspective, I came to realize that success is not based on perfection. Success is built on failures and by taking massive imperfect actions.
Set Goals and stay Steady from Failure to success
If people can understand that the faster they are willing to fail the quicker they will succeed, nothing can stop them from achieving their set goals within the stipulated period of time. Identify the changes that you need to make after every action you take, analyze it and tweak it. Failing faster doesn’t mean, you repeating the same mistake. That will only make you run in a never ending loop, will frustrate you and make you quit on your goal.
Every roadblock will teach you something, every failure will be a learning experience. How liberating it is know that failures will make you worthy of your goals. The progress that you will make in the process of attaining goals can be measured by observing the changes in yourself.
Are you the same person when you started?
Lawrence J. Peter emphasized the importance of vision by saying, If you don’t know where you are going, you will probably end up somewhere else.
